We are always looking for experienced landscaping and irrigation people

North Texas Lawn & Landscape has worked this market since 1995. We are not a mowing route that grew — we install irrigation, build landscape and hardscape for builders and developers, hold grounds maintenance contracts on commercial properties and HOAs, and run our own service and warranty departments.

That mix matters if you are looking for work rather than a season. Install, maintenance and service pull in different directions through the year, and people who can do more than one of them are the people we want to find.

If you know irrigation, or you know landscape, and you have the experience to show it — we would like to hear from you. Fill in the form below, or call (972) 240-8082 and ask for hiring.

Who we hire

The positions we fill most

Experience counts for more than a polished resume here. If you have done the work, say so.

Irrigation technician & repair tech

Diagnostics, valves, wiring, controllers, heads and coverage — residential service calls, builder warranty work and commercial systems. If you can find a wire fault without guessing, you will not be short of work here.

Landscape crew member & crew leader

Installation and maintenance across residential, commercial and HOA properties. We also need people ready to run a crew: set the pace, hold the standard, and keep a job moving without being chased.

Licensed irrigator & licensed applicator

Licensed positions on the irrigation and chemical application sides. If you already hold a licence, or you are working toward one, tell us on the form — those are the hardest roles in this trade to fill.

Equipment operator & CDL driver

Skid steer, trencher and mini-excavator work on the construction and development side, plus driving. Tell us what you have operated and for how long.

What we are looking for

Straightforward

  • Real experience in landscaping, irrigation or both — and the ability to talk through what you have actually done
  • Showing up. On a crew, reliability is most of the job
  • A valid driver’s licence for most positions, since the work moves between sites across eight North Texas counties
  • Willingness to learn the licensed side of the trade if you are not there yet
  • English or Spanish is fine — both are spoken on our crews every day
No resume written up?

Call (972) 240-8082 and ask for hiring. We would rather talk to somebody with fifteen years on a crew and no resume than miss them over paperwork.

FAQs

Before you apply

Do I need a resume?

The form asks for one, and it is the fastest way for us to see your experience. If you do not have one written up, call (972) 240-8082 and ask for hiring — we will take your details over the phone rather than lose a good applicant to paperwork.

¿Puedo aplicar en español? / Can I apply in Spanish?

Sí. Puede escribir sus respuestas en español en la solicitud, o llamarnos al (972) 240-8082. Yes — write your answers in Spanish on the form, or call us.

Where would I be working?

Across {COUNTIES_PHRASE}, and further into the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex on commercial and development projects. See our service areas.

Do I need a driver’s licence?

For most positions, yes. The work moves between job sites, and crews need to be able to get to them.

What if I do not have a licence yet but want to get one?

Say so on the application. Irrigation and chemical application are licensed trades in Texas, and people who want to move onto the licensed side of the business are worth talking to.

Do you keep applications on file?

Yes. Every application is reviewed and kept. Hiring runs in waves through the season, so a good application submitted in a quiet month often gets a call in a busy one.
