Privacy Policy

What this site collects, why, and what happens to it.

Last updated 29 August 2026

This policy describes what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written in plain English rather than legal boilerplate, and it describes what the site actually does — nothing more.

Who we are

This website is operated by Landscape Source & Irrigation Co., Inc., doing business as North Texas Lawn & Landscape, of Rockwall, Texas. You can reach us on (972) 240-8082, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in a form on this site — an estimate request, a service or warranty request, a bid request or an employment application — we collect what you type into it. Depending on the form that typically includes your name, phone number, email address, property address and a description of what you need. The employment application also accepts a resume file that you choose to attach.

We use that information to respond to you, to quote and carry out work, and to keep a record of the job. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone who is not helping us do the work.

The chat assistant (NTL-Ai)

This site has a chat assistant called NTL-Ai. It answers questions using the content of these pages, and if you ask it to, it can send an estimate request straight to our office. What you type into it is sent to Anthropic, who provide the model that writes the replies. If you give it your name, phone number, address or email so that it can request an estimate for you, those details go onto a job record in ClickUp exactly as a form submission would, and we email you a confirmation. Under Anthropic’s API terms your messages are not used to train their models. Everything on this site works without the assistant if you would rather not use it.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, how they arrived, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they are on. This is reported to us in aggregate. It sets cookies in your browser and Google receives your IP address as part of that process.

Cloudflare, who host and deliver this site, also keep standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) as a normal part of running a website, and provide us with a cookieless count of visits.

We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not use tracking for advertising purposes.

Third parties involved

A few services are involved in running this site, and information passes through them:

ServiceWhat it doesWhat it receives
ClickUp Hosts and processes the forms embedded on this site Everything you type into a form, and any file you attach
Google Analytics Tells us how the site is used Your IP address, pages viewed, device and browser information
Google Fonts Supplies the typefaces the site is set in Your IP address, when your browser requests the font files
Google Maps Provides the optional satellite view on our city pages. It loads only if you tap “Show satellite view” — nothing is requested from Google Maps until you do Your IP address and Google’s own cookies, but only once you have chosen to load the map
DocuSign Handles the repair authorisation form linked from our residential support page Whatever you enter on that form, on DocuSign’s own site
Anthropic Provides the model behind NTL-Ai, the chat assistant on this site The messages you type into the chat, and any contact details you give it. Under Anthropic’s API terms these are not used to train their models
Cloudflare Hosts and delivers this website, and counts visits for us without cookies Your IP address and standard server log information
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing what it does with information it receives.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets on its own are the Google Analytics ones described above. The city pages carry an optional satellite map that will set Google Maps cookies if — and only if — you choose to load it by tapping “Show satellite view”. If you never tap it, no request reaches Google Maps and no such cookie is set. If you would rather not be counted, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.

How long we keep things

Form submissions are kept as long as we need them for the enquiry or the job, and afterwards as a record of work performed — which for warranty and service history is genuinely useful to both of us. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s settings for our account. Employment applications are kept on file so we can come back to good applicants when something opens up.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and we will honour a reasonable request from anyone, whether the law obliges us to or not.

To make a request, call (972) 240-8082, email info@ntllandscape.com, or send it through our contact form and tell us plainly what you want. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request about someone’s personal information — that protection cuts both ways.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Children

This site is aimed at property owners and job applicants. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions go directly to the form provider rather than being stored on this website. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but we do not hold payment card details on this site, and we do not ask for financial information through any form on it.

One thing worth saying plainly.

We will never ask you for a password, a card number, a bank account or a social security number by email or over the phone. If you get a message that appears to come from us and asks for any of that, it did not come from us — call (972) 240-8082 and check.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We will not quietly alter it and pretend otherwise.
