Irrigation service and repair requests for your home.

Before you submit

Please read this first

Landscaping or sod under warranty? Contact your builder’s warranty department — this support request is for irrigation issues only.

New home irrigation warranty runs 1 year from your closing date. After that, all repairs are billable.

What the warranty does not cover

Any damage caused by a modification in the yard, including but not limited to:

We can still repair out-of-warranty issues. Those repairs are billable, require an agreement form, and carry a pre-pay minimum service charge of $88.50 plus tax.

Marking irrigation lines in the yard and on-site training on running your system are not covered under warranty. The guides below cover most of what people call about.

Frequent irrigation issues

A lot of calls turn out to be one of these three. Worth five minutes before you submit.

I need help setting up my irrigation controller

Hunter X2 controller

Hunter Pro-C controller

Connecting a Hunter X2 to wifi and the Hydrawise app

To make this controller a smart controller you need a WAND adapter that slides into the side of the controller. Setting up the app needs the serial number on the WAND adapter. The cheapest place to buy one is Amazon, and there are setup videos on YouTube.

The system will not turn on at all — manually or on schedule

Before submitting a request, check that the irrigation ball valve and the double check device are both turned on.

The ball valve is in a 10″ or 6″ valve box with a green lid in your front yard, before the big rectangular box. Remove the green lid and make sure the handle points the same direction the pipe runs.

The double check device is in the big rectangular box with a green lid in the front yard. Pull up on one end to remove the lid. The device has two butterfly valves with blue ends. A valve is open when its handle sits horizontal, in line with the pipe. Turn it 90 degrees if you need to open it.

If you had to turn on the ball valve, the double check device, or both, go back to your controller and try running the system manually. If that does not fix it, submit a request below.

I have an irrigation leak
  1. Take photos of the leak — close up, and from further back to show where it is. Attach them to the form below.
  2. Turn the irrigation controller to the OFF position.
  3. Turn the irrigation ball valve off — the 10″ or 6″ round box with the green lid in front of the bigger rectangular box. Turn the handle 90 degrees, perpendicular to the pipe.

If the leak does not stop after turning off the ball valve, and it appears to be between the water meter and the ball valve, call our emergency line at (972) 240-8082 and dial 9 — then fill out the form as well.
